Manager, PETER McAULAY was quoted as saying:
"With products such as Window Tinting, you'll probably get the same
thing done directly yourself at a better price," he said. "Paint and
Interior protection packages are another concern. They can cost up to $2000."
He said RACQ Technical Advisory Service enquiries revealed that similar
products were usually cheaper when bought direct from after-market suppliers.
With Window Tinting, for example, indicative prices through car dealers
ranged from $495 to $595, compared with $200 to $400 direct from tint suppliers.
The same applied to products like floor mats and seat covers...
