ULTIMA - PERFORMANCE
WINDOW TINTING LIKE NO OTHER:
When incomparable performance, premium quality, stunning looks and
impeccable reputation matter to you, ULTIMA window tinting film
delivers outstanding results in all areas. It's unique twin porous sputtered
nickel alloy layers create incredible strength and endurance with the most
refined finish imaginable. It has been the benchmark in quality full metal window films for years.
ULTIMA has set the standard in window tinting films through CPfilms in the
United States since it replaced Titanium Plus many years ago. Although
"titanium tints" are still available today through many new car dealerships,
they cannot match ULTIMA for performance, longevity, and outright quality.
Some of the many benefits of ULTIMA include a lifetime warranty assuring
full colour stability (will never turn purple or fade) which is transferable
between vehicle owners for the first five years. (Most window tinting films
have non-transferable guarantees) Ask us for more information and a brochure
on ULTIMA window film when you contact us.
HOW DOES WINDOW TINTING MAKE YOUR CAR COOLER?:
Window tinting is
created when solar film is bonded onto a piece of window glass. Tinting film
is usually made from clear polyester film with a very thin and even layer of
tinting agents such as carbon and/or metals deposited onto the film.
A
common misconception is that window tinting is dark, and night-time driving is
impossible when a car is tinted. The truth is that there are many window
tinting films in various shades to suit your preferences. Also, unlike
sunglasses that do impair your ability to drive at night, tinting film is
designed to reduce glare and not impede night-time driving. State window
tint laws also protect consumers against illegal tint that may put them in
harm's way during night-time driving. Another misconception is that window
tinting is bonded onto the outer surface of auto glass. Window films are
applied on the inner surface which also protects the film itself from flying
debris outside the car. Tinting film doesn't just block visible light. It
also blocks harmful cancer-causing ultra-violet (UV-A and UV-B) rays
as well as infra-red (IR) rays that cause heat to build up in your
car; however, how effective a film is in blocking these rays depends on the
type of film, the manufacturer, and the quality of installation.... That's
where Ultratint can help!

Some questions to ask when searching
for the best company to apply quality window films to your car:
1: How long have you been in business at
this location?
Good window tinting
shops prosper despite local competition by offering outstanding customer service
and top quality products at reasonable prices. We suggest that you find an
installer that has been in business for 10yrs or more at the same location. This
shows a stable business that will be there years down the road if for some
reason a warranty issue may arise.
2: What type/brand of films do you carry, and what warranty to you offer on
your work?
Quality tint shops carry complete lines of window film from one or multiple
window film manufacturers. Beware of companies that only carry one or two
lines of film, and sells them aggressively. They may have acquired this film
on sale, and may not be thinking of your unique requirements and concerns.
The warranty on your window tinting varies depending on the window film you
choose. Ultratint recommends that you install only quality window films
backed with a lifetime warranties which cover adhesive failure (bubbling,
peeling) and colour stability (fading, turning purple) as well as
materials and labour. Most films don't guarantee colour and fading, it is
recommended that you also choose one that does.
For the warranty to take effect, remember to get only legal window tint for
your car. Illegal tint can nullify any manufacturer's warranty as the
manufacturer specifies to the installer that any film installed contrary to
state laws will not be covered. When you purchase your tint, be sure sure
you get a manufacturer's warranty card from the installer with the date, the
window film used on each window, and the total cost of installation as well
as the tax invoice. This protects you and your warranty from falling through
the 'loopholes' imposed by some companies.
3: Can I visit your window
tinting workshop? Can you show me a sample of your work?
It's very easy for a window tinting shop to sound like the best choice on
the phone, but 15 minutes on-site should tell you all you need to know.
Professionals in the industry pay close attention to customer service. They
should be happy and willing to spend the time to talk to you and explain how
their workshop operates, and point out some of the features of their
operation that benefit you as the customer in the end. Remember, if they
don't spend time with you now, will they spend time with you when something
goes wrong with your tint job down the road?
A quality window tinting company's work area should be indoors and clean.
Their tools and window films are organised in a professional manner. If the
tint shop is wide open to wind or breeze, this is a negative since it is
critical to remove all dust and dirt from the windows before applying window
film. This same factor relates to the down side of "Mobile Window Tinting"
operators.
Lastly, ask
to meet the tinter. (the actual person who will be applying the solar film
to your car) Do they seem professional, and appear to be the calibre of
person you'd like to have working on your car? Asking to meet the person who
will apply the film gives you the opportunity to gain peace of mind about
how your vehicle will be respected during it's time with the installer. And
don't be shy to ask the installer for his or her personal assurance that the
installation will be of the highest quality!!
..... and lastly,
After you
make your decision, remember to always make an appointment with the
installer before you tint your car. Even if they say "drop-ins accepted" or
"bring it over any time", you want your tinter to be calm and prepared for
you when you arrive. Tinting may take a couple hours to half a day, so
either arrange a ride or go to a nearby coffee shop with a good book. Enjoy!
